Well, I just called to the LGA in the person of Frances Blenheim, their complaints officer. I had some answers to my questions:
- Betchance did pay about 10 persons in the last few weeks (probably some hundreds euros only though)
- Betchance are not operating anymore. Their website is only online to display the odds that are available in their offline offices in Italy. If you try to place a bet online it will be rejected (I tried it too and that's true). Their shops in Italy are still operating and doing fine (making profit) and hopefully that's where Betchance will raise the money from to pay online customers.
- LGA is demanding a payment plan from Betchance, which they expect within approximately 2 weeks, that will prove to the LGA how they are planning to pay the customers (in what kind of amounts per period, and how that is financed).
- LGA could not make any promise on a timeframe when I could expect a (first) payment. They didn't even wanted to make a guess.
- They didn't hear anything anymore from the whole "30% contract" idea. So people who didn't sign, or even didn't receive this contract (like me) are officially entitled to their full balance being paid.
Last thing I can say is that I advice everyone to call the LGA from time to time, because that maybe make them push Betchance more to pay soon.
Myself I will be calling now every 2 weeks.
Hope I have give you some info, although it's not much new I guess....
