A very difficult game for in-form Xanthi. Egaleo have a very good, organised defensive line. They have a respectable record on away games and only 2 losses in 10 matches (2-6-2). The attackers of Xanthi will find it hard to score. The most important absentees for home team are midfielder Karabas and valuable striker Labriakos. The same for Egaleo which will be missing their top-scorer Barkoglou. The good news, however, for coach Dumitrescu are the return of midfielder Abonsa and NIkolopoulos. No doubt, Xanthi are the favourites in this match, but i think that sooner or later they will have a downfall. Egaleo are, definitely, very dangerous and can cause damage to any team. Time to win has come for OFI. Their last two games ended to two losses, but the performance of the team was good. In the game @ Panionios they scored the first and lost a couple of very good opportunities to score more by playing fast counterattacks. Panionios however stroke back in the second half and won the game. I think draw would have been the most deserved result. In their last game @ Iraklis, OFI were extremely unlucky since they conceded a goal 5' before the final whistle. Now vs the team of Kallithea, they have a good chance to recover. No injury or suspension problems for the team from Crete. Everyone is back, even the Brazilian Davidson who returned a few days ago from his home-country after taking small vacations! Kallithea is a small-sized team with a very low budget, based on Athens. IMO teams such as this one do not deserve to be in the upper leagues. Hopefully they will be relegated at the end of the season. Coach Lemonis preferes an attacking style of football making thus the team very vulnerable at the back.
