Strikers Andriy Shevchenko and Didier Drogba have travelled with the Chelsea squad to Barcelona, despite injury concerns for both players.The Blues are likely to make late decisions on injured strikers Drogba (foot) and Shevchenko (thigh) after the pair came through training on Monday
Shevchenko missed Saturday's 2-0 victory at Sheffield United because of a leg muscle injury, while Drogba came off after receiving a kick on his foot.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is also expected to keep faith with Hilario in goal though Carlo Cudicini is fit.
Barcelona's Argentine winger Lionel Messi is fit after an ankle injury.
Mourinho said of his goalkeeping dilemma: "I choose the one I think will work for us. Friday was Carlo's first time training back with the ground and he needs to improve but he is available for selection. "Hilario is amazing. He is cool and comfortable in goal and I think the penalty save was a three-point save. You never know if Sheffield United are 1-0 up." Hilario saved Danny Webber's poorly taken spot-kick after Drogba was adjudged to have fouled the Blades' Claude Davis.
Although Shevchenko and Drogba have made the trip to Spain, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho may still field 21-year-old Salomon Kalou. "He is sometimes a bit naive in his actions but he is a kid with a lot of qualities and to play in Barcelona could be a big occasion for him," said Mourinho.
Chelsea go into the tie top of Group A after three wins. Another victory will take them through to the knockout stages but a draw would also be enough if Werder fail to win in Sofia.

Recent form: In the fortnight since Chelsea won the corresponding fixture at Stamford Bridge, Barca have lost to Real Madrid but returned to winning ways at the weekend with a 3-0 win over Recreativo Huelva to maintain a one-point lead at the top of the table.
European record: They staged a late comeback to beat Arsenal in Paris in May to win the Champions League for the first time since beating Sampdoria at Wembley in 1992.
How did they get here? As well as winning in the French capital they successfully defended their La Liga crown to secure an 18th title.
Ones to watch: Too many to mention them all, but the main man is of course Ronaldinho, particularly with Samuel Eto'o injured. Much has been made of the Brazilian's poor form this term, but he scored two goals at the weekend to take his tally to six for the season. However, will that be enough to quell tabloid talk of his infatuation with Mariana de Melo being the cause of his on-pitch slump? The glamour model says Ronnie is "mad" for her, adding "he cannot sleep at night because I'm always in his mind."
Did you know? Following their victory in this competition last season, Barca are now the most popular club in Europe outside of its own country, according to German company Sport + Markt AG. Real Madrid and Arsenal make up the top three.
They say: "People have made a lot of the absence of Eto'o and they have been critical at times of Ronaldinho and Deco, but when this pair are on form there's no stopping them."

But they go into this game defending a unbeaten home run of 15 European matches. The club record is 17 and was set between 1960 and 1964. The Spaniards are also unbeaten in 11 CL games at home, which is already a club record.
Chelsea have now been responsible for Barca's last two Champions League defeats. The Premiership champions are undefeated in four Champions League matches, winning the last three.

Barcelona beat Recreativo Huelva in the Spanish League on Saturday. Ronaldinho scored twice and Xavi netted once to keep Frank Rijkaard's side on top the Primera Liga table.
Chelsea beat Sheffield United 0-2 in the Premiership. Frank Lampard and Michael Ballack scored for the visitors who also saw third-choice goalkeeper Hilario save a penalty. They trail Manchester United on goal difference at the top of the table.
Barcelona need two goals to reach the 200 mark in the Champions League. Only Manchester United (210) and Real Madrid (239) have already reached this milestone. Chelsea are playing in their 50th Champions League match. They have won 25, drawn 12 and lost 12.
Mourinho wary of Barca 'tricks'
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has suggested Barcelona receive favourable refereeing decisions at home.
"I know the number of penalties they get at home. I know how often they play against 10 men," said Mourinho ahead of Tuesday's Champions League encounter. He accused former Blues striker Eidur Gudjohnsen of diving to win a penalty in Barca's domestic match on Saturday.
"I am surprised with Eidur because he played in English football all his professional life," added Mourinho. Gudjohnsen took a dramatic tumble to earn a spot-kick in the 3-0 win at home to Recreativo Huelva at the weekend.
The incident led to much criticism in Spain, with Recreativo president Francisco Mendoza criticising Barca's influence on referees.
Mourinho caused a storm after his Chelsea side met Barcelona last season, with him accusing Argentine forward Lionel Messi of "acting" to get Asier del Horno sent off. Asked if there would be any similar incidents on Tuesday, Mourinho added: "Ask Eidur."

However, Barca boss Frank Rijkaard said anyone who believes his team cheat has a "poor man's mind". "We don't need to do that," he said.
"It's almost always losers who complain about the results and it's something we have to cope with. "I don't care what is said. We are working honestly and it doesn't affect me." Meanwhile Messi recently posed in a Spanish publication holding a skull in Hamlet pose in what was deemed as a response to Mourinho's accusations of play-acting. "The picture was done with a lot of respect and I was not thinking about anyone other than Barcelona when I did it," said the Argentine.
After losing to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on 18 October, Barcelona are desperate to make up ground in Group A. Chelsea, by contrast, need only two points to qualify for the knockout stages but Mourinho wants to collect them as soon as possible and finish top of the group. "Our target is to finish first in the group and it's not my problem if it's Barcelona or Werder Bremen who finish second," he stated. "We need two points. We have three matches to get what we need to qualify automatically. "We know our last game is at home against Levski but, of course, I would prefer to qualify before the last game. "This is a game we will play to win. We want three points."
