Portand and Phili will play the playoffs , Phili is 99% in , Portland is not sure yet but i am not afraid that they will lose a playoff spot , they surely deserved it.

As you cann see the situation in the West is much more complex than on the East. For Phili it is just a question against who they will play ( Boston , Chicago, Miami ) , chances for them to come to spot 4 are not so big but not impossible ...
Portland has a chance to avoid SAS , Dallas or Lal by getting to position 5. passing Denver. Seeing the rosters by this two teams this is not impossible , Denver surprised against Orlando with stronger defense then usual , but all together Portland should be better ranked as them. Getting to NR.5 Portland would play against Oklahoma , and despite them being extremly uncomfortable to any team in the league Portland would avoid 3 title contenders , which all tree are ahead of Portland in compactivity which is one of the major elements in playoffs.
Motivation factor goes to Portland. Problem is Philis defense and team play , but this match is more important to Portland , not just cause i said so than also cause Philis coach stated out that Iguodala will be rested tonight cause his knee is sore , so their is no significant injury and if this would be a playoff match he would play very possible , but like i said by the newest updates ( could change until tonight but not likely ), So Iguodala will not play and so will have a 5 day vacation to rest his knee and preper himself for the playoffs.Phili can try to calculate to pick their opponent in the playoffs but for this the race by the first 3 in the east and between NYK and Phili is to close , such matter will be decided in last 3 games. Yes Igi will not play but this is not chaning the fact that Phili can get highly dangerous , but Portland is not a run and gun team , prefers team play and defense , some problems could appear if A.Miller will not play, he has been excused due to a family matter , his status is questionable. All in all on the end i see Portland ahead of Portland , their advantage is their motivation and homogenity , defense for them be no problem.
