Knicks vs Wizards 25.Dec

Sure it is a Christmas time, but the Knicks will get no Christmas spirit or presents from the Wizards. While dealing with injuries and just having no team chemistry at the moment the Knicks have been struggling. They have list 5 games in a row, 16 of their last 17 games and have an overall record of 5-25.

And the Knicks will have to play 19-8 team, that has all their players ready to go. Yes, the Wizards have lost 2 games in a row, but they also played against solid teams (PHX, CHI) and if anything, those losses should give them extra motivation to end the slide here and now.


Iman Shumpert and JR Smith will not play, Amare Stoudemire is questionable with a knee injury. All in all it means a lot of “lets give the ball to Melo and see him going one-on-one” offense. It has not proved to be successful so far and the Knicks need a little bit more than a Xmas miracle for it to work tonight. The spread for the Wizards is just too low. Washington should be by far the better team here and even if this game stays close, they should be able to cover the spread with last minute fouls. Take WAS -5 points @1.909 from Pinnaclewith 3/5 units.

Guten morgen zusammen,
Trotz sehr kurzer Nacht und mega jetlag kann ich von diesem Pick nur abraten. Die wizards haben von ihren 3 away games im dezember bisher eines verloren (bos) und zwei gewonnen miami und orlando. Beide games gewann man allerdings nur mit -2. Die knicks hatte im dezember bisher 6 games at home und stehen 0-6, gegen dallas und phoenix verlor man DD, jedoch gegen protland, clevland, Brooklyn und toronto nur mit 5 oder weniger pts.
Zusätzlich ist dies heute das christmas day game. Aktuell liegen wir immer noch bei over 75% auf die wizards und der spread der wie schon die ganze Zeit bei ca -5 liegt riecht mir zu sehr nach public bet. Einen ordentlichen spread hätte ich bei ca -8 auf die wizards gesehen. Daher klar, pick kann kommen, sehe hier aber zu viele Punkte die klar dagegen sprechen.

So bin hier lange schon dabei, gebe allerdings jetzt erst meinen ersten Tip ab, quasi ein Weihnachtsgeschenk meiner Seits.

Ich schließe mich den Punkten des Vorredners an, jedoch nehme ich folgendes mit:

den Tipp gebe ich nur ab weil heute Christmasday ist. Denn der NBA X-mas day ist den Staaten ein Highlight mit sehr vielen Zuschauern und bietet eine hervorragende Bühne für Melo ($124 Mio ...[[stupid]]) sein Können im MSG unter Beweis zu stellen.

Kurz: Melo mehr oder weniger die einzige scoring option der Knicks + X-mas day im MSG = guter spot mMn.

Es spricht im Prinzip gar nichts für die Knicks. Das Team is schlecht, es fallen wieder viel zu viele aus und es is kein richtiges "Road Game" für die Wizards. haben genug eigene Fans in der Halle.

Knicks stehen diese Saison gegen TEams aus der Stadt (Nets und Wizards) 0-3, Anfang der Saison zu Hause schon mit 10 gg die Wizards verloren. Und mittlerweile Knicks noch schwächer. Letzte Saison auch 3x verloren, 2x davon allerdings knapp. Dennoch die Wizards nen besseres Team diese Saison.

Dennoch..Am besten gefällt mir hier das under. Beide Teams momentan eher langsame Pace, Wizards treffen auch nicht so top. Knicks eh mega langsame Pace. Dazu vielen in 3 der letzten 4 Spielen immer um die 180-190 Punkte. mMn die beste Wette hier!

207 als punkteline hat mich doch überrascht. klar, in letzter zeit fielen bei bulls' homegames oft viele körbe. doch mit toronto, portland und den warriors waren zum teil die besten der nba zu gast. ansonsten hat chicago ne geordnete defense und solche lines sind eher die seltenheit.
glaube nicht dass es hier ein offener schlagabtausch wird, obwohl man am x-mas day vllt paar punkte draufschlagen müsste auf ne "alltags-line".
für die stats-fanatiker, das letzte mal als diese line im h2h geknackt wurde war 22.3.09.
für mich nen versuch wert.
