Unglaublich, aber wahr, die Warriors, die seit etlichen Spielen mit Problemen kämpfen und gestern nicht mal in Atlanta was reißen konnten, werden heute von den Buchmachern als gleichwertiger Gegner in Charlotte angesehen, die vor 2 Tagen nur ganz knapp mit 1 Punkt in der Overtime gegen Miami verloren. [[nixweiss]] Okay, die Guards Felton und Robinson sind fraglich heute, denke aber, dass sie kompensiert werden.
der 1 Tag Pause tut den Bobcats sehr gut, diese Saison sind sie 16-10-1 nach 1 Tag frei - das ist gerade zu sensationell bei ihrer Gesamtbilanz von 16-45.
AUch gab es leider bisher nur 3 Meetings der beiden Teams, die allesamt Golden State gewann, für die momentane Situation der beiden sollte das jedoch keinen Ausschlag geben.
Kann keinerlei Zeichen erkennen, dass die Serie von 7 verlorenen in den letzten 8 Spielen ausgerechnet heute in Charlotte reißen sollte. Auf jeden Fall kann man dann so eine schöne Quote mitnehmen für Charlotte, die schon für die eine oder andere Überraschung in letzter Zeit sorgten. (Der Sieg heute wäre jedoch keine ...)

The Wolves absolutely collapsed in the 4th quarter of last night’s game against Houston by shooting a cumulative 1-19 until the last minute of the ball game. They led by ten points at one time before falling 93-87 and missing out on the chance to win three in a row for the first time in almost two months. The team as a whole appeared to be rushing shots and settling for jumpers as it looked like no one cared to challenge Yao inside.
The main difference in tonight’s game is the fact that Utah is not capable of dominating inside and with Whaley back on the sidelines, Minnesota should have little trouble penetrating against the Jazz. Last night, Garnett looked like a good player but there was nothing to indicate that he is averaging over 21 points and 12 rebounds per game this season. Banks is getting more minutes and his scoring average is up over four points over the last ten games. Tonight against Utah’s weak Tony Battie, Blount should be able to off in the middle, opening up the lanes for KG and Co.
The Jazz owner, Larry Miller, actually walked across the court during a timeout in Monday’s game with Orlando to berate his coaches and team in front of the crowd. Despite the fact that the Jazz won the game, afterward Miller followed the team into the locker room for another tongue lashing and later told the media that they are a “gutless bunch of pampered babies with hurt feelings” who are “afraid to shoot when the game is on the line". Nice job with the interpersonal communication skills. I’m sure that once you gave those nice quotes to the media, the guys are all fired up to play their hearts out for their boss. Winning is obviously not real important to this team as they have not won two in a row since February 10th and I’m betting that the guys lay down for the boss tonight.
