TAIK LEE - Saretta ) 1.8 ADM 400 EH

Gimelstob is an average grass player with some results also in Wimbledon while C.Rochus won nothing on this surface. Taik Lee is about the same class as Gimelstob while Saretta won nothing... Nice odds for this double me thinks.

GOODALL - Van Gemerden +
NIEMINEN - Daniel Marcos ) 1.8 NB 350 EH

Goodall is a brit with some experience on grass and few wins. Gemerden has only played a single match on grass- in 2004 - which he lost and odds about 1.6 are nice for the brit with home advantage. Nieminen is banker against a clay courter from Brazil who knows grass only from hearings

ZIB - Montanes + NIEMINEN ) 1.75 UNI 350 EH

Zib is also nothing special on grass but has won some matches there and also in Wimbledon. Montanes, a spanish clay courter has won a single grass match in last 4 years and should be too weak even for Zib here.

Tipps day 3 - round 2

BJÖRKMAN - Dlouhy +
HAAS - Bloomfield ) CAN 1.5 800 EH

The swede in his usual grass form with a final last week and clear disposal of his mate Johanson in round 1 meet the czech with no wins on grass who surprisingly beat Serra yesterday [[droh]] today he meets a much better opponent and should lose.
Haas banker.

YOUZHNY - Kunitsyn + HAAS CAN 1.5 600 EH

Same here, Kunitsyn won surprisingly against Monfils but he is no grass courter and with worse results on this surface than Youzhny who can be said as above average on grass.

after a successive day 3 try to continue today with those:

ANCIC - Wawrinka +
NALBANDIAN - Verdasco ) 1.25 CB,EXP 1000 EH

ok lousy odds and no 3rd good match for acci at the moment but i stayed with the higher bet double here as I see both safe, Ancic with a splendid grass record against a guy that has not won a single grass match b4 Wimbledon, Nalbandian former finalist and staright sets winner this week in both rounds against a clay courter who needed 5 sets against a no name and 4 against an old us player to reach this round.

BJÖRKMAN 2.29 - Bracchali PIN 300 EH

For me this is the wrong favorit ! Björkman getting old but is still a very good grass courter who reached the final last week and has an overall far better record than the Italian. So why he is outsider here ? Clear bet on him !

GROSJEAN - Bahgdatis ) 2.03 NB,EXP 600 EH

Not only Nieminen has beaten his opponent 2 weeks ago on same surface in straight sets, he is the better grass courter as well. Godd chances for Grosjean in the 2nd part of the double because he is the far more experienced grass courter and always plays well at Wimbledon while opponent and newcomer Baghdatis is not very common to grass and has not shown anything special here b4.

TURSNUNOV 2.37 - Ljubicic BAW 300 EH

I was on Lopez as all remember against Lubeman in round 1 when he pulled a miracle winning 11:9 in 5th set. Tursnunov is a good grass courter and I try a 2nd time to knock out Ljubicic who has a good serve but is not suited to grass and odds are high enough.

ROCHUS 3.45 - Hewitt PIN 200 EH

Small punt here but as Rochus is in excellent form, has almost beaten Fedex weeks ago in Halle and has not lost a set so far I give him a shot. Hewitt is sure better and has won Queens this year BUT has needed 5 tight sets last round against Lee and Rochus is sure the better player so why not at these odds.

Ausserdem at 2.92 kleinigkeit auf Andre zum mitfiebern but not for the records. [[grin]]

Ok, Mirnyi played well last week beating Phily and Blake but those 2 were serve/volley players mainly. Björkman is a counter puncher and Mirnyi who plays serve/volley himself will have a difficult time and shoudl never be favorit here as the odds show.

HEWITT - Ferrer ) 1.78 NB 400 EH

THe russian did us a favor last round and disposed Ljubicic in 5 sets. Nieminen won quite clear here in previous rounds but against mediocre opponents. H2H is 0:2 but on hard, still I think Tursunov is the better grass courter and will win this.
Hewitt pick should be almost a banker, Ferrer had only clay courters or qualifiers so far and Hewitt with a tremendous 3 set win over Rochus and unbeaten on grass this year 8:0. Ferrer should not spoil this.

Clear value as I see this at least 50:50. Björkman the better grass courter, H2H 3:0 and not even on grass and both equal form here in Wimbledon. Medium bet at least advided here!

Eine Begegnung konnte Stepanek doch für sich entscheiden.Das war in Paris
TMS im Jahre 2002 und zwar in der Quali mit 6:4 , 3:6 , 7:6 . War aber auch sehr eng.Ich denke auch das Bjorkman mithalten kann,Form und Erfahrung sprechen für ihn.Stepanek hat den besserer Aufschlag.Ansonsten 50:50,deswegen ist die @ spielbar.

Bin zwar auch auf Björkmann aber ein kleiner Einwurf noch. Björkmann hat gestern noch (mindestens) 4 Sätze Doppel gespielt. Dürfte sicherlich kein Vorteil sein gegen einen ausgeruhten Stepanek, auch wenn Doppel ja nicht so an die Substanz geht wie Einzel.

Bjorkman spielt seit fast 3 Wochen ohne Pause (Einzel,Doppel + Mixed) durch. Irgendwann wird ein Einbruch kommen.
Sehe ihn eher bei knapp 40% und damit kaum Value auf den alten Schweden.
