Le Mans genug Probleme in der Liga.
Strasbourg konnte man 73-71 schlagen.
Wie reudig Strasbourg momentan ist haben wir gegen Juventus gesehen.
Pau konnte in DD geschlagen werden, is aber nix besonderes.
Gegen Le Portel 81-75 verloren.
Einzigen Spieler die irgendwas gerissen haben waren Hanlan, Pearson und Watson. Gute Wurfquoten von Le Mans aber 48 FG Attempts und 9 3P Attempts viel zu wenig.
21 von 75 Punkten durch Freiwürfe auch zu viel.
Gegen Nanterre 90-70 verloren.
Diesmal einige mehr Würfe genommen aber deutlich schlechtere Wurfquoten. FG grad mal bei 41%.
Hanlan, Pearson und Watson enttäuschend. Amagou und Konate zusammen 29 von 70 Punkten gescored. Die Bank 21 Punkte.

Denke Le Mans wird rotieren und schonen. Le Mans als nächstes gegen Monaco. Sieg wird dringend gebraucht um nicht den Anschluss zu verlieren.


Venezia zuletzt 59-76 gegen Trento verloren.
Mischung aus Venezia traf nix, Trento traf alles und Venezia schonte.
Tonut 31min gespielt. Haynes 27min. Hagins und McGee sogar nur 16 und 20min.
Erstes Spiel war 92-99 Sieg gegen Venezia.
Tonut 26pts, Ortner 15pts, McGee 14pkt usw.
DAS sind die Zahlen die man von einem Tonut gewohnt ist.
84-69 Sieg gegen Orlando auch gut. Keine überragenden Trefferquoten, aber gute Rotation und mit einer 11 Mann (eig 12 aber die 1min von Visconti lass ich mal weg) gespielt.


Venezia breites Team. Gute Importe mit Haynes,McGee,Ejim,Hagins und Peric.
Gute Locals mit Tonut. In der Liga bisher überzeugend untewegs und für mich kein Dog.
Le Mans krieselt. Deutlich kürzere Rotation und schweres Spiel vor sich gegen Monaco.
Sehe sie hier eigentlich verlieren. Nehme aber lieber HC.

Galatasaray muss am Donnerstag gegen den Titelverteidiger CSKA Moskau ran.

CSKA hatte letzte Saison im Finale Fenerbahce Istanbul durch einen Last Second-Point ( Verlänerung) geschlagen. Sie hatten davor 2008 den Titel geholt. Beide Mannschaften haben sich letzte Saison nicht getroffen.

Galatasaray :

2013 hatte Galatasaray den Titel in der Türkei geholt. In den letzten 2 Jahren haben sie jedoch das Finale nicht erreichen können. Die Türkische Liga ist auch momentan die stärkste in Europa. Dennoch war die Leistung letztes Jahr sehr stark. Der Vorstand und die Fans haben sehr guten Basketball gesehen. Denn sie haben den Euro-Cup gewonnen und somit eine Teilnahme für die Euroleague. Sie werden von Ergin Ataman trainiert. Ein Trainer der unter den bessten 5 gehört in Europa. Er bekommt jedes Jahr Angebote aus Spanien. Dieses Jahr hat Madrid ein Vertrag angeboten. Er ist ein Galatasaray-Fan und deswegen ist er sozusagen Treu geblieben. Er trainiert schon seit 5 jahren Galatasaray.

Die Mannschaft hat sich geändert. Jon Diebler, Justin Dentmon, Alex Tyus, Deon Thompson, Austin Daye, Orhan Hacıyeva, Russ Smith,Can Korkmaz und zuletzt Tibor Pleis sind gekommen. Pleiss hatte letztes Jahr in Spanien gespielt. Sinan,Micov,Schilb und Göksenin sind geblieben.

Dennoch sollte man wissen, dass der Basketball sich nicht geändert hat. Das habe ich in der Vorbereitungsphase gesehen und zuletzt im Ligaspiel. Sie hatten auch den Aufsteiger Balikesirspor mit 81:72 geschlagen.

Galatasaray ist eine ultra starke Heimmanschaft. Sie haben letzte Saison im Eurocup intressante Spiele gemacht. Was meine ich damit ? Sie haben im Achtelfinale, Viertelfinale, Halbfinale und im Finale alle Auswärtsspiele verloren. Sie haben sogar meistens diese Auswärtsspiele sehr klar verloren. Doch jedesmal haben sie im Heimspiel die Sache entschieden.

Die Kulisse in der Türkei ist mit Sicherheit vielen bekannt. Das macht einfach am Ende den Unterschied aus.


CSKA Moskau:

Sehr viel über diese Mannschaft brauche ich nicht zu schreiben. Sie werden am Ende wieder einmal sich iwie für das Finalfour qualifizieren. Denn diese Mannschaft ist auf Papier sehr stark. Sie haben nur 2 neue Spieler geholt. Teo und Colo sind geblieben. DE Colo hat sehr viele Angebote aus der NBA bekommen. Er möchte jedoch diese Saison in Europa spielen. Sie werden von Itoudis trainiert. Er hat auch vor 4 Jahren in der Türkei Banvitspor betreut und kennt die Türkischen Mannschaft ziemlich gut.



Erwartungen:

Moskau spielt überhaupt nicht gerne gegen Galatasaray. Sie haben bisher 4-mal gegen Galatasaray gespielt. Die letzten beiden Spiele haben sie in den letzten 2 Minuten gewonnen. Vor 4 Jahren haben beide sich in der Zwischenrunde getroffen. In der Vorrunde hatte CSKA 10 Spiele gemacht und alle 10 Spiele gewonnen. In der Zwischenrunde haben sie 5 Spiele gemacht und nur eine Niederlage geholt. Diese Niederlage hatten sie in Istanbul geholt. Sie hatten in diesem Jahr sogar das Finale erreicht. Das war auch die Mannschaft mit Kirlenko,Kristic,Teo,Papa,.

Galatasaray hat schon am Anfang gezeigt, dass sie in diesem Spiel überhaupt keine Chance haben. DIe Verteidigung war sehr schlecht. Sie haben schon in den ersten 5 Minuten 17 Punkte kassiert.

Dennoch haben sie nicht so leicht dieses Spiel hier abgegeben. In der 2.HZ haben sie sogar den Vorsprung auf 5 Punkte gebracht. Im letzten Viertel hatten sie keine Kraft mehr. Am Ende mit über 20 Punkten verloren. Schade.

Fängt damit an, dass ici bei Mara nicht viel unterbringen kann. Spiele generell eig am liebsten bei pinni (244bets 14% Yield. leider im september sehr getilted und viele und sehr sehr dumme wetten gespielt. never chase a losing system.)
Würde Kazan nicht mit BBL Teams vergleichen. Kazan defensiv nicht stark. Offensiv umso stärker.
Kazan pures run and gun Team. Hohe pace und hohe trefferquoten.
Gegen Barcelona hat Kazan langsamer gespielt. Barca aber auch viel bessere Defensive und beide mit schwachen Wurfquoten.
Sowohl in der S5 als auch in der Rotation bei Kazan genug Scoringoptionen vorhanden.

Odds going up and i want to go against the market in this one.
Many people seeing value in over (like 153 or sth) but no. just no.
Important game for both. Home opener for Zalgiris and Baskonia takes this game very serious.
Its true that both can play a fast basketball but both were beasts in the first rounds with over 40 rebounds
Jasikevicius said : "If we win rebounding and control the pace it creates chances for ourselves. "
Which means that he wants to slow down the pace if possible.


Baskonia started great into this season with 3-1 in ACB.
Easy wins against Murcia , Andorra and Obradoiro.
Their only defeat so far was an away overtime lose against Barcelona.
Their rooster is build around strong players like Bargnani , Blazic, Hanga, Larkin, Voigtmann and Shengelia.
Especially the addition of Bargnani is a very strong boost for them and he just scored 26points vs Efes.
The Stats vs Efes are kinda impressive with hitting 65% 2PT, 31.6% 3PT and 65.2% FT and 40 Rebounds.

Alonso : "It’s an important game, of course, as every game at home or on the road but this time the difficulty is big because of Zalgiris’s first EuroLeague game at Panathinaikos. They are having a good rhythm so far in this year in which they had a complete roster and coach staff at the beginning, which makes a difference to the previous season. They have an incredible variety with Pango’s addition and their complicity and chemistry is already set for instance in the pick and roll situations. It will be a really tough game specially on the road and at a very difficult arena. We will have to play aggressive especially in defense. It’s going to be our fistst experience on the road and it’s a good test to see at which stage as a group we are. We’ll have to deal with pressure and an adverse atmosphere so if we have it during the game let’s see how we will react."
Sedekerskis : We won our first home game and we are feeling good, improving every day. We want to win this road game at Zalgiris. I think we have our chances because we have prepared it well. It will be a special game for me because my family will be there watching me. It's my first game in Lithuania so that will be great for me."

The team and the coach know that the game will be hard but they also take it very serious. Good mindset in my opinion.



On the other side we got Zalgiris with Players like Lekavicius , Motum , Jankunas and Westermann.
Indeed a strong rooster but in my opinion it will not be enough.
Going 6-1 intothe LKL is nothing special because they simply dominate the league.
Their first game they lost 84-76 against Panathinaikos.
They have shown a great defence but lost it in the end.
Motum and Jankunas leading the scoring list for Zalgiris.
Yes Zalgiris played very good but it was against a weak Pana which tried to slow down the game vs Zalgiris.
Baskonia wont do that. And that could be a big problem for Zalgiris.



Both teams with a good rooster this season but Baskonia has a wider rooster and a better rotation.
Zalgiris at home is always playing good because of their great home support but i dont think its enough.
Baskonia with a great season so far and in my opinion they are ready for their second victory.

Once again i will go against the market.
Many people going with Galatasaray today but i dont agree at all.
I will spent some units handicap and ML.

Some words about Zvezda which i copied from my preview against Darussa :
"With players like Simonovic, Jovic, Guduric and Bjelica they wont have big names but very talented players for sure. in their previous clubfriendlies they convinced with some victorys over smaller clubs and gave Olympiakos a great fight away from home. At their last matches in ABA they also rest some players played with a 12 men rotation."

The game vs Darussa looked kinda convincing but somehow they throw the game after 14point lead at halftime.
I personally rate Gala weaker than Darussa this season.

Its true that Galatasaray is a very strong team with very good homecrowd.
With players like Diebler, Dentmon Tyus , Thompson , Daye , Smith and Pleis they got a decent rooster but they are not on point so far.
Going 2-0 into the SL with homewin vs Balikesir (81-72) and 80-82 awaywin vs Tofas.
Neither Tofas nor Balikesir has the same quality like Zvezda.
The first game Galatasaray looked horrible at the start and almost came back into the game.
But that was CSKAs fault. They had the control the whole game and lowered down the pace.


Zvezda lost their homeopener against darussa.
Like i already mentioned they had a 14point lead at halftime , played unconcentrated and somehow lost the game.
This will not happen today. They just hit 46% of their FT and allowed 16 turnovers. Zvezda will try to reduce the turnovers and to get more controll over the game today focusing on defense.
They have a very young team indeed but they are very talented.
In the ABA they dominate every team and rotated alot last game.


I see two almost equal teams playing against each other.
Zvezda isnt such a underdog. not even in an awaygame.
Galatasaray does not seem to be 100% prepared right now and Zvezda is motivated as fuck to beat the turkish homeside today

The game vs Darussa looked kinda convincing but somehow they throw the game after 14point lead at halftime.
I personally rate Gala weaker than Darussa this season.

Its true that Galatasaray is a very strong team with very good homecrowd.
With players like Diebler, Dentmon Tyus , Thompson , Daye , Smith and Pleis they got a decent rooster but they are not on point so far.
Going 2-0 into the SL with homewin vs Balikesir (81-72) and 80-82 awaywin vs Tofas.
Neither Tofas nor Balikesir has the same quality like Zvezda.
The first game Galatasaray looked horrible at the start and almost came back into the game.
But that was CSKAs fault. They had the control the whole game and lowered down the pace.


Zvezda lost their homeopener against darussa.
Like i already mentioned they had a 14point lead at halftime , played unconcentrated and somehow lost the game.
This will not happen today. They just hit 46% of their FT and allowed 16 turnovers. Zvezda will try to reduce the turnovers and to get more controll over the game today focusing on defense.
They have a very young team indeed but they are very talented.
In the ABA they dominate every team and rotated alot last game.


I see two almost equal teams playing against each other.
Zvezda isnt such a underdog. not even in an awaygame.
Galatasaray does not seem to be 100% prepared right now and Zvezda is motivated as fuck to beat the turkish homeside today

Zalgiris - Baskonia

Odds going up and i want to go against the market in this one.
Many people seeing value in over (like 153 or sth) but no. just no.
Important game for both. Home opener for Zalgiris and Baskonia takes this game very serious.
Its true that both can play a fast basketball but both were beasts in the first rounds with over 40 rebounds
Jasikevicius said : "If we win rebounding and control the pace it creates chances for ourselves. "
Which means that he wants to slow down the pace if possible.


Baskonia started great into this season with 3-1 in ACB.
Easy wins against Murcia , Andorra and Obradoiro.
Their only defeat so far was an away overtime lose against Barcelona.
Their rooster is build around strong players like Bargnani , Blazic, Hanga, Larkin, Voigtmann and Shengelia.
Especially the addition of Bargnani is a very strong boost for them and he just scored 26points vs Efes.
The Stats vs Efes are kinda impressive with hitting 65% 2PT, 31.6% 3PT and 65.2% FT and 40 Rebounds.

The team and the coach know that the game will be hard but they also take it very serious. Good mindset in my opinion.



On the other side we got Zalgiris with Players like Lekavicius , Motum , Jankunas and Westermann.
Indeed a strong rooster but in my opinion it will not be enough.
Going 6-1 intothe LKL is nothing special because they simply dominate the league.
Their first game they lost 84-76 against Panathinaikos.
They have shown a great defence but lost it in the end.
Motum and Jankunas leading the scoring list for Zalgiris.
Yes Zalgiris played very good but it was against a weak Pana which tried to slow down the game vs Zalgiris.
Baskonia wont do that. And that could be a big problem for Zalgiris.



Both teams with a good rooster this season but Baskonia has a wider rooster and a better rotation.
Zalgiris at home is always playing good because of their great home support but i dont think its enough.
Baskonia with a great season so far and in my opinion they are ready for their second victory.

In their league they scored 86ppg (only 69 against Fener) and received only 73.6ppg
but holding cska under this margin is just impossible and for me efes weakness is their defensive

Efes needs the victory right now but their only way to win is to play a fast and aggressive offensive.
they cant lower the pace because CSKA is stronger on every position and just the better team. If they try a slow pace they will get outscored very very hard.

Khimik is the strongest team in the Ukrainian Superleague.

Going into this game as a underdog they managed to play a great game for their fans and almost won.
I wont even try to compare the ukrainian league with the french league.
Obviously Khimik plays in a much weaker league and also their rooster is not near to Le Mans level.
This year they added the two americans Smith and Allen.
Smith with NCAA experience and some lower european leagues, scoring 15.68ppg for Liege Basket, 19ppg in the Ukrainian Superleague and 28points vs Saratov.
Allen also with NCAA experience scoring 13.13ppg for Drexel last season.
With Antypov, Belikov, Pavlov and Petrov (all of them with ....ov ) they got some decent local players in their rooster

About the league games i wont say something because they dominate their league with 7-0 at the moment.


In my opinion Le Mans has many problems right now and should focus on their league.
I expect them to rotate very much and Khimik has some decent scoringoptions

Barcelona made some good transfer phase but they struggled a lot lately.
They just won 62-69 vs Novgoord and lost vs Fener 72-73

I expect Barcelona to improve in offense today.
