Having spoken about the seed change in the AFC Champions League already this year, we might be seeing the first signs of something similar in the Copa Libertadores, Brazil has produced the last three winners and five of the last eight, plus another five losing finalists, that strangledhold might be about to end. Six Brazilian teams made it through the group stages to the last 16, but now down to five, only one remains and even they could have already been down and out, with things looking very bleak for Atletico at half time in the first leg . At that time,Tijuana led 2-0, Mineiro clearly didn't like the artificial playing surface and Bernard had just left the match injured, a comeback looked very unlikely with everything going the hosts way, but two basic errors and a late , late equaliser, when both teams had appeared to settle for 2-1 left the Xolos with a mountain to climb in Belo Horizonte, with the Mexican side needing to win, or at least score twice.
There are a couple of rays of light for the visitors, one is that they did come to Palmeiras in the round of 16 and win 2-1 and whilst that opponent are currently playing second tier Brazilian football, that is only likely to be for one season and they did win all three home group games, secondly, Atletico's inability to keep a cleansheet, having conceded in all nine Copa matches this season.
Also, they have their anger to feed off, after being what they considered "perfect hosts" for the first leg, Atletico told them there were no lights for training yesterday and the session had to be completed in half darkness, with a little light provided by a camera crew and a couple of vans/trucks. All the while the lighting seemed to work perfectly well in the rest of the stadium, Mexicans are a very proud race and to say they took this personally, is a bit of an understatement, just look at their website to see their reaction.
They showed enough in the first hour last week to show that they can trouble Atletico and they will surely gamble big time at some stage, Argentine coach Antonio Mohamed was very good tactically in the first leg and had a real surprise for AMG with his opening formation. He is bound to have something in store tonight. I think Tijuana to score twice is big at 5.0-5.50 and I would suggest 0.5 units if that is available to you, Atletico have already beaten Arsenal (ARG) 5-2 here, the hosts are offensively minded and with the visitors needing to gamble, this could develop into a shootout. I think both to score at circa 2.0-2.05 offers decent value and would be my strong and main 1.5 unit pick .

I see plenty of value is this match to go to a third set at 2.20-2.375... there is up to 2.42 for minimal liquidity on the betting exchanges, but as always, that should increase nearer the start time , I make that a 1.5 unit pick if you can get near the upper end (2.30 +), you could otherwise scale things down slightly, odds can be viewed here.
Schiavone was champion here in 2010, runner up in 2011 and is a lifetime 36-11 at Roland Garros, she is very much in the twilight of her career, that was true in the year she won too, but obviously with her 33rd birthday hurtling towards her (next month), she is only going one way. However, she would sooner die than give in and that fighting spirit goes double in Paris and if she loses, which might well be today, the Italian will be carried out on her shield. That was the case last year when she lost 8-6 in the third set to Varvara Lepchenko in a match which produced 36 break points. I am expecting something similar today. Flipkens is not in the first flush of youth in tennis terms at 27 yo, but has improved her ranking from 262 ( she had a blood clot in her calf) to a career high 21 inside 13 months, which included her first ever WTA Singles title last September. The Belgian appears to have stepped up to the plate following her countrywoman and friend Kim Clijsters' retirement and also refound her desire, after losing her funding during her injury. Clijsters helps her as coach on an occasional basis, along with Maxime Braeckman and the two have clearly been a big influence. Almost all came a long time ago and only one on clay, but Clijsters was 12-0 against Schiavone, so should be able to give Kristen a few pointers. Anyway, the pair have met twice previously, most recently in Hobart in Janaury with Flipkens winning in a third set tie break. At their peak, Schiavone wins this, but always liked to make things difficult for herself anyway and loves a battle, with four of her last eight matches at RG going to a decider and her first round opener was only a tie break away from following suit. At this stage of their respective careers the Belgian will expect to win, but it will surely be close and decent odds against, offers far and away the best value of the day in my opinion.

Mich wundert zum Beispiel die Quotensetzung beim Spiel Bristol Academy Damen gegen Arsenal Damen.Heute um ca 11 Uhr kommen die Quoten raus mit ca 1,8 bis 1,9.Wieso setzt mann offensichtlich die Quoten falsch,das viel mehr Geld auf Arsenal Sieg gewettet wird, anstatt gleich mit einer fairen 1,45 zu Quotieren.Was denken sich die Quotenmacher bei der Bilanz der beiden gegeneinander von h2h 19/2/0 71-11.Vor Spielbeginn dann nur 1,4 bis 1,5 zu legen und wie man festgestellt hat, das Arsenal haushoch besser und überlegen ist.[[help]]
