The natural order in Croatian basketball changed sevirly this year. The domination of Cibona and Zadar is coming to an end. The strongest team in Croatia is going to be decided between Cedevita , Cibona and Zagreb , but i think at least a beat is Cedevita head of the others. On the other side we have Zadar which is in serious finacial troubles. The contract with Greer ( MVP of French national championship ) was terminated days ago due to his lack of fitness and finacial demands, also contract was terminated with Perinčić, best player R.Stipčević ( in Croatian national team) went to Cibona, Vladović has slight injury problems , Ivanov has been bought from poor club also from Zadar - Borik , i think his contribution will not be so significant , also J.Golemac has been traded to Zadar - ex Cibona player and ex Slovenian national player , now he is a veterean and i expekt max 10 points per game from him. This year Zadar will rely on their youth player , players which played a unsignificant role in their team past year will now be the bases to build on. Only American in Zadar is B.Brown bought from Vanoli Cremona.
Cedevita on the other hand is one of the most rich clubs on the Ex-Yugoslavia territory. The brought half of the Cibona team : : Vukušić, Princ and Troha , from Zagreb great Krstić came , and from American players they have : Draper, Pattway and Edwards ( they are realie strong and good on the center line ) , from players from last year more the most important ones are : Baždarć and Rudež who are still at Cedevita. Cedevita is the finacial way much more stabile than Zadar. Even Zadar-s trainer Jusup said that this is going to be a hard season, and that they must orient on their youth because of the lack of money. Still this is a derby match so we must be a little catious but i doubt that Zadar can surprise here.

Crvena Zvezda played catastrophicly bad in the preparations period . They were very poor in the friendly matches. 1 win and 7 loses. Some of the loses were very embarassing like : Unicaja -40 , Zaragoza -20 and losing against Zadar in the middle of Beograd ! Similar situation in Zvezda like in zadar. Even worse because they practicly did not buy anyone . they will also rely on their youth , they have one american who is solid but not more - Jamaar Young. They first playmaker Nedović is slightly injured but not significantly and will probably play. CEZ Nymburk kept most of their players , the trip to Czech is something Zvezda is not used to in national league because this is the first time Nymburk is playing adriatic league. Nymburk has a small hall in which is vry easy to make great atmosphere. This to teams met in eurocup last year 2 times , it was 1-1 , but Nymburk exceed further due to their better point difference. Nymburk more stsbile and with more quality , also with bigger motivation in front of their fans they want to make their debute with a win-
