Djokovic misses opening day's action
Serbia's star player Novak Djokovic is out of the opening day's actionin the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas first round tie in Moscow betweenRussia and Serbia.
What should have been a triumphant firstday in the world group for the Serbian nation has turned into anightmare, with the withdrawal of both Djokovic and his No. 2 JankoTipsarevic. It means Serbia must field the doubles specialist NenadZimonjic against the world No. 8 Mikhail Youzhny, and the 31-year-oldhasn't played a competitive singles match since the last day of Aprillast year.
Djokovic has been suffering from flu-like symptomsall week. The Serbian team had hoped he would recover in time, but theygave up the fight on Friday morning as Djokovic arrived at the LuzhnikiStadium looking pale and tired. Serb officials are still hopingDjokovic will be fit for Saturday's doubles, where he is due to partnerZimonjic.
Tipsarevic has also been fighting off a stomach bug,but he is believed to have picked up another injury in training that isstill being assessed, and an official of the Serbian team said he wasunlikely to be available to play this weekend.
It leaves theopening day's singles as Mikhail Youzhny (RUS) v Nenad Zimonjic (SRB),followed by Nikolay Davydenko (RUS) v Victor Troicki (SRB).

Beim Davis Cup In Österreich ist je mal richtig stimmung in der Bude auch wenn es wohl für Melzer nicht rechen wird..
Für mich jetz trotz Fanbrille 1860 small, zum einen da die @ von 1860 (ca 3,5 nto bei BF) einfach zu hoch ist gg ein Lautern das jetz mal 1 gutes Spiel gemacht hat und zum 2.ten, Bruder is im Stadion, 1860 hat noch nie verloren wenn er bei Auswärtsspielen dabei war.
