Again odds very much to high. My local bookie offers 1,15 De Bakker former junior wimbeldon winner , and Giraldo clay player but with strong serve. I dont know what should happen here that both of them will not win against each other at least a set. maybe a giraldo 3 - 0 win , but i dont give to that much chances. De bakker adjusted himself to much to clay play . His physicality is not good for grass play because he is very skinny. Maybe the difference wasnt obvious when he was a junior but now it is. He need to get at least 7-10 kg of mussels. But talent is ofcourse always there ...

Short analyse of this match is : dologopolov better player , one of the player s on the tour with the most exciting potential , amazin flair , Chiudnellis advantages are his serve and experience. Dolgy is i think now also a better player , but he is 2young and not mature. Chiudinelli can take advantage of that , and take at least 1 set

koubek won 2 sets against very strong server Mahut that is reason enough for me to play this. Odds should be max at 1,3. Nieminen a moody player. Left handed. Can make problems to many top 30 players when he is in a mood , but when not ... players like him doesn like a win 3 set match

Mariana Duque Marino (COL) - Kurumi Nara (JPN) 18:30h

Marino absolut keine Rasenplatzspielerin, sie meidet es auf Rasen zu spielen. In Eastbourne schon in der Qualifikation gegen eine absolut außer Form spielende Mirza in 2 verloren, davor in Birmingham gegen eine unbekannte Lucic mit 6-1 6-2 chancenlos. Auch vor der Rasensaison in RG gegen Bammer 6-0 6-1 und in Straßburg gegen Sevastova 6-1 6-1 unter die Räder gekommen. Nara auf Hardcourt zuhause, ging hier aber durch die Qualifikation in Wimbledon, bezwang Ferguson, Paszek & Dubois, was schonmal garnicht so schlecht ist, steht nun in der ersten Runde und kommt mit diesen 3 Siegen mit Oberwasser daher. Auch in RG durch die Quali gespielt. Immerhin schon 3 Spiele in Wimbledon machen dürfen und somit sehr gut eingespielt. Sollte hier ein 2-0 geben, Marino einfach in einer katastrophalen Form zurzeit.

Michael Russell (USA) - Pere Riba-Madrid (ESP) 16:30h

Beide sicherlich auch nicht gerade die Rasencracks, aber finde die Quote auf Riba einfach derbe übertrieben. Russell spielt mal locker hier und da, letzten 10 Spiele nur eines gewonnen. Nun gegen Luczak 6-7 6-7, Gicquel 6-7 3-6 und gegen Pospisil in Prostejov verloren, der nicht mal in der Rangliste geführt wird. Einzig die Hardcourtsaison war gut für ihn, aber die ist auch schon sehr lange her. Riba spielt eigentlich eine solide Saison, gewinnt gegen die Gegner die er schlagen muss, hat dann aber Probleme wenn mal ein großer kommt. So schlug er sich in letzter Zeit richtig gut, einem Bellucci das Leben schwer gemacht und auch in RG Ferrero über 4 gezwungen. Auf Rasen nur in London gespielt, dort gegen Lorenzi 4-6 4-6 verloren. In Bytom vor kurzem das Turnier gewonnen, gespielt wurde aber auf Sand und die Qualität des Turnier war nicht sehr hoch. Aber immerhin scheint er in einer guten Verfassung zu sein, im Gegensatz zu seinem Gegner. Wie gesagt, die Quote von 2,9 bei Pinnacle einfach zu hoch, dafür hat mir Russell die letzten 3 Monate sehr schwaches Tennis gezeigt.

Both players showed nice performance on grass. Especially Petzschner who won against players like Baghdtais , Troicki and Lacko and showed nice skilles. But he is , how should i call him , a "crazy"player , with characteristics for example like D.Brown , Melzer , once Safin , Monfils and so on. When he has his day he can beat anyone , but also can lose against a anyone. On the other side we have Robert who beat L.Mayer and won a set against great Llodra in last grass tournament. He was the only player which won a set aginst Llodra on that tournament..
