Heut Nacht gehts für die nix, ehm Knicks , gegen die Spurs ran. Sollte kein Geheimnis sein, dass die Knicks nicht wirklich stark sind. Die letzten 5 Heimspiele erzielten sie 86,86,103,83 und 87 Punkte also im Schnitt deutlich unter 90. Dazu fällt evtl noch Hardaway Jr. aus. Sollte für die eh schon schwachen Knicks nochmal nen Rückschlag sein.

Zu Gast heute die Spurs mit ihrer TOP Defensive. Ich denke ich muss hier nicht großartig viel schreiben. Sollte jedem bekannt sein, dass die Spurs eine der besten Defense der Liga haben , und die Knicks Offensiv ganz weit unten (29 oder so?) an zutreffen sind.


Ich gehe hier von einem eher scoring armen Spiel aus und sehe die Knicks nicht über 90pkt kommen. Vielleicht 85.

Golden State Warriors - Atlanta Hawks

Meine 1. Empfehlung in diesem Forum; GSW spielen ohne den verletzten Klay Thompson der zwar spielen könnte aber für die Play-Offs komplett genesen soll. Der andere "Splash-Brother", Stephen Curry zuletzt nicht mehr mit der ganz überragenden Ausbeute.
Bei den Hawks wurden die Protagonisten zuletzt vereinzelt geschont, dennoch gewannen die Hawks, da sie eine homogene Einheit darstellen und weniger auf 1-2 Spieler ihrer Starting-Five angewiesen sind als es die Warriors mMn auf Curry und Thompson.
Die Auswärtsbilanz der Hawks: 5 der letzten 10 Spiele verloren, vornehmlich aber gegen Teams die noch um Play-Off-Platz 8 kämpfen sowie gegen die wiedererstarkten Nuggets, gegen die allerdings auch die Warriors Federn lassen mussten.
Die Heimbilanz der Warriors: die letzten 9 Spiele gewonnen, die vom Papier her stärksten Gegner waren die Spurs (vergleichsweise mit den Vorjahren nicht ihre beste Saison), Dallas (chancenlos gegen die meisten Teams mit besserer Bilanz) und die Clippers.
Zuvor in der OT gegen die Bulls verloren.

Ich gehe hier dennoch mit den Hawks da ich den Ausfall von Thompson für gravierend halte.

Cavaliers vs Nets 18.Mar

Second time Lebron James lost in Miami this season. Coming from a few impressive wins in a row, the Cavaliers had a really slow start and never recovered against the Heat. Kevin Love was getting his rest, but he should be playing tonight. There can`t be a better motivator for Lebron and his teammates than to lose a nationally broadcasted game. It has proven to be the case many times this season – if the Cavaliers are rested and healthy and if they are motivated, they are tough team to beat.

Especially for a below average team such is the Nets. Like we predicted desire to win against the shorthanded Timberwolves was enough, but the Nets didn`t impress anyone in that game. Their defense was way below any reasonable standards and although they did score a lot of points, it was mainly due to Minnesota`s lackluster performance at the defensive end. Against the Cavaliers the Nets will not have any favorable match-ups.

Just an ocean between these teams. The Cavs will be motivated to have a great game in front of their home fans. They have been running away with games against much better opponents than the Nets. We expect this game to be a one way traffic from first to last minute. Take Cavaliers to cover -11.5 points @1.909 from Pinnacle with 3/5 units.

Sacramento Kings vs Los Angeles Clippers

Ich halt mich kurz, hab grade eben die News gelesen, dass DeMarcus Cousins fraglich ist für das Spiel heute Nacht. Falls er ausfallen würde wäre das natürlich sehr herb für die Kings. Außerdem fehlt auch Rudy Gay.

Bei den Clippers sind Matt Barnes und Jamal Crawford, letzterer wird ja für mehrere Spiele ausfallen. Allerdings ist Blake Griffin wieder zurück.

Sofern Griffin hier gut ins spiel integriert werden kann und die Clippers nicht irgend nen Quatsch machen, sehe ich nicht wie die Kings hier gegenhalten könnten. Mit Cousins würde ihr mit Abstand wichtigster Spieler und Leader fehlen. Da macht es mir auch nicht so viel aus, dass LA back-to-back spielt.

LA Clippers -8 @ 1,98 bei Pinnacle

Wenn du schon fast nur auf die Injuries abstellst, solltest du nicht vergessen zu erwähnen, dass Korver auch out ist

Das ist zwar richtig, fällt für MICH aber nicht ins Gewicht da für mich wie erwähnt das Teamplay der Hawks den Ausschlag geben wird,wo jeder einzelne der StartingFive mehr oder weniger 1:1 ersetzt werden kann und dagegen mit Curry nur 1 "Superstar" gegensteht.
Wir werden sehen ob ich daneben liege. 😏

R. Gay hat doch gespielt und auch ordentlich gescored. Ohne Cousins hat es aber dennoch nicht gereicht den Clippers das Wasser zu reichen :)

Nets vs Bucks 20.Mar

The Bucks have been sliding a bit recently, but their 4 game losing streak has been caused by a tough schedule. Away games against the Pacers, Grizzlies and Pelicans were somewhat expected losses as was a home game against the Spurs. The Bucks a nevertheless 34-34, hold a 6^th seed in the Eastern Conference and will make it to the play-offs. The key for the Bucks success has been the fact that they have won most of their games against weaker opponents and this is something they have to continue doing until the end of the regular season.

The Nets are 27-39 and are able to win games they should, but do not usually succeed against teams with a play-off level quality (or close to it). Recent games are perfect example here as the Nets have won games against the 76ers and Timberwolves, but lost to CLE, MIA, NOP, UTA and PHX.

Milwaukee has won 2 games against the Nets this season. They may not have individual quality as much as the Nets, but they function a lot better as a team. Recent losses due to a tough schedule has made the bookies to consider the Bucks as underdogs for this game, but we think the trend of them doing a good job against losing teams will continue. We see the Bucks as slight favorites, but are happy to take the points. Take the Bucks to cover +3 points @1.952 from Pinnacle with 3/5 units.

Pacers vs Nets 21.Mar

Both teams played last night, so it is a back-to-back situation for both sides. Difference of course is that the Nets had to play 3 OT periods meaning 15 extra minutes to win the game against the Bucks. The Nets are probably one of the teams that suffers the most from extra minutes played and they have been bad in back-to-back situations anyway (4-10 this season). Reason is the age of their key players and nagging injuries that makes it tougher to play 2^nd night in a row.

Indiana has lost 4 games in a row, but have met 3 top teams in the Eastern Conference (TOR, CHI, CLE). They made it a fight against the Cavaliers last night, kept the game close, but lost it after failing to score during the last 2 minutes of the game. So although losing the game the Pacers performance was reasonably good. The Nets won the game, but they played an awful game really. Their defense was non-existent as the Bucks at times scored like it was a pregame layup drill. With the Bucks key players fouling out during the overtime and Milwaukee just being unable to make outside shots, the Nets got a win they did not deserve. It will be different with the Pacers though as Indiana has all players being able to shoot with a reasonable efficiency.

If the Nets play at the defensive end like they did last night – the Pacers will murder them. It is possible they do, as extra 15 minutes and back-to-back situation will weigh heavy on their shoulders. Could easily turn out to be a „lets take a day off“ game for the Nets. This bet though feels a bit too obvious and obvious thing in NBA often do not happen. We believe this is not the case here, but will limit our stakes. Take Indiana to cover -7.5 points @1.970 from Pinnacle with 2/5 units.
