NYK - Boston
All has been said about both teams. NYK a unserious team , and Boston a serious team which is underachieving. Boston will need to raise their game if they want to compete with Miami , the performance from last year will be very hard to achieve but they dont need to be that good to compete with the Heath. Now they need first to win the series with the Knicks. Despite Boston not playing so ell they should even be the favorite in this clash , the Anthony and Stoudamire offense + 3 pointers is not a serious playoff playing concept , and now it seems like Billups is very questionable for tonight , he didnt train yesterday , Dantonie said that he needs a week of rest to recover fully but now with the Knicks being 2-0 behind there are some chances that he gonna play , but thats gamble , and even if he does he shouldnt be at his best. Not much more to say , i said it all before ... Boston is the weakest on the center line with Shaq out but thats the position where also NYK is the weakest , and if Boston will not have an awful night and NYK a great 3 point night this should be at least a close match.
Atlanta - Orlando
This series showed all the flaws Orlando has. When i speak about Orlando i simply must mention the worst trade ever ( Arenas )
which downgraded the team for at least 20%. Atlanta is playing very smart against Orlando , more less they let Howard do what he wants and they focus on defending the rest of the tam. Van Gundy knkows that his chances whithout Howard are minimal cause he simply isnt that good in making a new tactic and the rest of the team isnt at the highest level. Yeah , Orlando can win but only if they score everything they shoot tonight and Atlanta has a very bad night. the only player who so far followed Howard was Nelson , i think without Richardson and Turkoglu at their level Orlando has small chances to win this series, and Nelson is being defended by a great defensive PG K.Hinrich. bad thing is that J.Smith and A.Horford have slight problems , but Atlantas team shoed much more maturity than in the regular season and like the match above i expekt at least a close match.
