Werder Bremen with a very flattering appearance at Stuttgart last week, but they defended very well and could get a point against a good Stuttgart-Offense. Coach Dutt is well known for his solid style. So Werder made Progress but nevertheless they are far away from their better years! SC Freiburg lost a lot of their best players from last year to other teams. It was clear that Europa League and Bundesliga and Cup will be very hard with a squad that has to integrate a lot of new players and invent itself again if you want so. They tested 3rd-league-team Sandhausen and playes very bad again so the progress they make is very small a the moment. They really need some good results to make small steps forward. I see both teams not in the absolute need to risk a very offensive style of game. Bremen will defend solid and waiting for their chance patiently. Freiburg did a lot of individual mistakes so I guess they also want to be solid first and not risking an early or stupid goal against them. I can't see many goals here. Hanke for Freiburg is very doubting. Petersen after plenty of games finally scored again but I doubt a succesful U-Turn concerning his abilities to score.
