Riessersee lost against Ravensburg on Sunday and much more important was the injury of John Spoltore. He has a rib injury and played only the first 8 minutes on Sunday.

He is still injured as his ribs are not broken only sprained but he "will try everything today".

Because of trouble with the DEB (German hockey association) Riessersee has only 9 attackers left as because of the Olympic break in DEL all national teams are called together to train and Riessersee had to send Simon Maier to U19 and Martin Buchwieser to U17.
Hannover under light pressure early in the final stage as it is not only about reaching the first 8 places. They want to reach one of the first 2 places to secure the right to play home till final (final means promotion).
They lost against Weiden (or better against Weidens goalie Lukas Lang) shooting 50 times on Weidens goal hitting 2 and only got 23 shots of which 5 hit.
But they never gave up and as there will be the direct rematch against Riessersee on friday they have to try to keep points tonight.
A big boost for the team of the Indians will be the return of their "hero" GK Roman Kondelik after 2 month of injury.
He is second best goalie in the league after first stage with a GTS of 2,35.
No missings in Hannover team.
And another interesting point:
Riessersee lost against Ravensburg and this was a team they lost both games in first stage.
Now they play Hannover Indians and in first stage the results were 1-3 on the road and 2-4 at home.
Good sign for the Indians ?

Peiting a team that plays about reaching place 8 to get into the playoffs.
In first stage Peiting won at home against 4-3 (but at a time Crimmitschau was secure in final stage while Peiting had to fight for that) and lost 0-4 on the road.
Crimmitschau won against another favourit Ravensburg 1-0 on the road and if they play the same style of game tonight they should win, too. Or better --it´s all about defense.
An additional boost for Crimitschau:
The three players Wörle, Klinge, Heinrich playing in an additional fourth attacking row normaly play for DEL team Kassel Huskies but for the time of Olympic break they play for Crimmitschau and with their speed they cause a lot of trouble to the opponents defense.
On friday the direct rematch takes place in Crimmitschau.
