January 18 - After the arrest of two of its founding directors by US authorities, online gambling payment provider Neteller has issued a notice that it will no longer allow online gambling transactions to be conducted by its USA based customers...
Neteller informed its partners in the last few hours, and have posted a full explanation of its reasoning on its website. In sort, US based Neteller customers will be able to withdraw their funds using the Neteller Debit Card, but they will no longer be able to make payments to, and receive funds from so-called "gaming merchants" - obviously these are online casino, poker rooms and sports betting operators.
Neteller already suspended their Instacash service for US visitors yesterday.
The full Neteller service is still available to players from outside the USA.
