schaut mal sein Match bis jetzt:
- Frankreich - Schweiz, Deutschland - Ecuador, Portugal - Holland. Alle 3 sind sehr wichtig und mit namhafte Mannschaften. Portugal - Holland ist gar eine der schwerste Partie der 1/8 Finalen. Darin kann man erkennen, dass der Vertrauen von Fifa an Ihm sehr gross ist.
- Russland ist nicht bei WM dabei.
- Er wird am 4.Juli 45, d.h. er hör auf nach dem WM. Setzt man ihm nicht mehr ein, wäre ein Abschied mit Beigeschmack. So einer erfahrene Mann hat diese Abschied nicht verdient.
- Welche erfahrene Schiri sind überhaupt noch dabei. Aus Europa nur noch Merk und Michel sind stärker als Ivanov einzuschätzen. aber auch Merk mit Fehler. Poll nicht mehr einsetzbar. Oscar Ruiz bis jetzt nur ein Spiel, danach kein Einsatz, ist er verletzt?
- Das wichtigste Kriterium für mich ist aber, er hat heute kein graviende Fehler gemacht. Er hat sogar noch einiges Mal ein Zeichen gesetzt, dass die Spieler die neue Regelung von Fifa unbedingt achten müssen.

Naja Poll ist auch raus - und der galt auch als Topmann. Wobei die Quote sicher zu hoch sit. Nach dem Spiel wurde schon einiges gg. bzw. über Ivanov gesagt.:

Ivanov produced his yellow card 16 times and his red card four times as both teams were reduced to nine men in their second round clash on Sunday -- a record for any World Cup.

''This was a game of emotion, with exceptional drama in the last instant, with a deserved winner,'' her added. ''It was a great show with intervention by the referee that was not consistent and (had) lack of fair play by some players.''

Ivanov, a 45-year-old music-loving teacher, attempted to establish his control from the start when he cautioned two Dutchmen in the opening seven minutes.

But instead of gaining command of the game, he sent the contest into a spiral of chaos as Portugal took a 23rd minute lead, thanks to a well-taken goal by Maniche, and defended it with every trick in the professionals' book.

In the end, Ivanov sent off Costinha and Deco of Portugal, each for two yellow cards, and Khalid Boulahrouz and Giovanni van Bronckhorst of the Netherlands, both also for two cautions.

He also handed out yellows to Portugal's Maniche, Petit, Luis Figo, Ricardo and Nuno Valente and the Netherlands' Mark van Bommel, Wesley Sneijder and Rafael van der Vaart.

''I must say it was a pity that there was no football in the second half,'' said Dutch coach Marco van Basten.

''The referee made a mess of it and Portugal used all their experience, all their tricks and time-wasting. We just couldn't play. It was chaos and it should not happen this way at a World Cup.''

Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari said he was happy to win and added that such rough games were a part of his South American experience.

''Sometimes it is like war,'' he said. ''It is like that in the Copa America and I am used to that.''

Scolari said he was not worried about losing players to suspension because he has a strong squad.

He defended captain Luis Figo, who was cautioned for butting Mark van Bommel in a scrap to grab the ball when the Dutch were refusing to hand it back.

Van Bommel said, ''They were not any smarter than us, but the referee let them get away with it.

''If Figo butts you, and he only gets a yellow card, and then minutes later he 'delivers' Boulahrouz's second yellow when, already, he should have been in the dressing room... Well, they are crucial mistakes that shouldn't be made at a World Cup.''

But Scolari said Figo only did what a committed player should do when goaded by his opponents, adding, ''Jesus Christ said he would turn the other cheek but Figo is not Jesus Christ. I thought he was more correct than the Dutchmen''.

Scolari refused to accept that his side tricked their way to victory and Van Basten, when asked about his own team's physical style and their role in the chaos, said: ''If they are talking about fair play, they should look at themselves first.''

First off, referee Oscar Ruiz did such an utterly foul job at officiating the Netherlands-Ivory Coast match that it's almost impossible to figure out which team should be more disgusted with him. The Colombian distributed seven yellow cards — probably two, three max Previous Entries
merited. Meanwhile, he left at least two penalties unwhistled, and looked at his shoes ignoring clear-cut fouls, yet stopped play to sanction piddling offenses elsewhere.

The worst part about it, Ruiz doesn't even seem to suffer from the disease that most of the world's worst referees have (ie. they think people pay to see them at work). He actually looked as though he thought he was doing a decent job. Though there's no fair way of changing FIFA's current geographical selection process of referees, there has to be some way of reversing the current problem that sees all the real stinkers make it to the Cup.

Second, where did even mega-savvy European fans get the idea that a pencil-written rule of the game requires attacking teams to chuck away developing scoring opportunities to mark a minute of silence for the injury-faking opponent writhing down field? In the case of a clear or serious injury, fine — the referee can stop the match. Or, if a team that has recovered the ball near its own goal wants to give a downed rival the benefit of the doubt, cool — kick it out. But forget this garbage where entire nations — not just stadiums — start acting as though a team has been swindling drug money by mugging old people when it simply plays on with the logic that an opposing player lying down (occasionally due to injury) is more exceptional to the game than a player being sent off or another leaving due to injury after all replacements have been used up. It happens; play on.

That Dutch fans would get so peeved by the Ivoirians continuing play following Mark Van Bommel's horridly faked foul-cum-injury ploy is amazing. That they'd then start biting the plastic stadium seats in rage shortly after as the confounded Ivoirians actually had to be told by the replacement referee to keep playing while Giovanni van Bronkhost staged his death scene is just insane. No one should be expected to halt play because a rival decides to lie down. Older players still express amazement that it's done even in bad injuries cases these days.

Fans and current players alike have to get a grip on this one — if they don't, attacking teams sacrificing drives will soon be rushing over to carry the stretchers as well.

eine blöde Frage:

Ich suche eine Statistik der Fouls in allen WM Spielen ohne Berücksichtigung der Verlängerungen.

Bei betfair kann man auf die Gesamt-Anzahl der Fouls in der WM wetten, in allen Spielen ohne Verlängerungen. Die Quote erscheint mir sehr gut: 3.05 derzeit für mehr als 2300 Fouls. Bisher gab es 2249 Fouls, aber einschließlich Verlängerungen (in 5 Spielen) . Die muss man also noch rausrechnen. In den 5 Spielen mit Verlängerung bisher gab es 221 Fouls, ich tippe also auf knapp 60 Fouls (1/4) in den Verlängerungen. Auf der FIFA Homepage finde ich aber keine entsprechenden Statistiken. Weiß jemand, wo es genauere Statistiken gibt?

Wäre sehr dankbar über eine entsprechende Info.

Ok, habs jetzt selber gefunden. Man kann das im FIFA Matchcast im Einzelnen herauslesen. Es gab bislang 2225 Fouls. In den verbleibenden Spielen müssen also 76 Fouls fallen, damit die Wette auf Betfair aufgeht. Statistisch gesehen fielen bislang durchschnittlich 36 Fouls per Spiel (ohne Verlängerung). Fallen in den letzten beiden Begegnungen insgesamt 4 Fouls mehr, ist die Wette gewonnen. Die Wettquote beträgt derzeit 4.7.

Kombiniere ich erschöpfend immer jeweils zwei der bisher 62 Spiele der WM und zähle, wie oft eine Foulsanzahl von 76+ herauskommt, komme ich auf 1423 von 3844 Kombinatonen mit 76 Fouls oder mehr, also 37%. Nehme ich nur die 22 Spiele mit Beteiligung GER, ITA, POR, FRA dann komme ich auf 202 von 484 möglichen Kombinationen, ergibt 42% Wahrscheinlichkeit für 76 Fouls oder mehr.

Was meint ihr? Soll man das setzen? Die Quote scheint mir schon sehr günstig für ein Ereignis, das nach meiner Schätzung zu 40% eintritt..
